Academic Ventures organizes convenient and affordable one-day tours of college campuses making it easy to travel to the school, tour the campus and return home in a single day.
We specialize in providing services to areas that are four to five hours drive from the campus of their choice. Since at that range prospective students discover that the school is too far to make the trip, tour and return in one day but yet too close to justify overnight housing arrangements along with the additional time off of work for parents and school for the student.
Academic Ventures provides an easy and affordable solution -- we make it possible to do it all in a single day by handling all the arrangements including your transportation.
How it Works
Each tour is a one-day visit to a single school.
Tours begin at a convenient Start/Return location (typically a large parking lot adjacent to the highway) where prospective students and their parents are greeted by your Academic Ventures Tour Manager and board the chartered motor coach.
While traveling the choice is yours -- relax, enjoy music on headphones, read, do school work and much more. And parents have a choice as well - stay in touch with the office, conduct business, work on your laptop or choose to relax, read or enjoy your music as well. All the driving is taken care of so you are free to do something or nothing.
Your campus experience includes lunch in one of the campus dining halls, presentations by admissions personnel, a walking tour of campus and explore areas of interest before a discounted* shopping spree at a campus-area bookstore. Your time on campus will be approximately four hours.
Our return to the starting point is a relaxing drive in comfort as work, read, discuss what you saw, or relax.
