This year's Comics Symposium will be April 7-9, 2011, with part two of the Graphic & Novel Adaptations Film Festival.
Plans for 2012 are for the more "traditional" format including a return of the Comics Art Contest.

The Lakeland Community College Comics Symposium is a jamboree of comic art enthusiasts in a region of graphic fiction abundance and steeped in comics history in which the general public and fans can hear from and discuss this unique art from with successful creators, industry professionals, and engaging symposia presenters. It is a festive environment that celebrates the Comic Art form in which those with an affinity to this unique expression can delight with other devotees.
Due to the format of this year's Symposium, the companion Comics Contest will NOT be held.
