Did you know that Ohio, particularly northeast Ohio, is a hotbed of comics and graphic fiction activity?

More than 10% of the 100 most important newspaper-strip artists of the first century of newspaper comics selected in the 1996 illustrated encyclopedia100 Years of American Newspaper Comics have ties to Ohio!
